Welcome! I am so pleased to have you visit All A Tutoring!
Bring three friends and save $50 each! NEW CLASSES START JULY 21!
Each Prep Class is intended for students who are seeking an alternative to tutoring. Each class is conducted with a curriculum that is planned but not scripted, so it is customizable within the group's general needs. The full class includes 10 3-hour sessions and 4 practice tests. The maximum number of students per class is 8, although on occasion, 1-2 other students may sit in. Tests may have more students in attendance.

GREAT NEWS!!!
My office is OPEN! Signage is still in progress, but hopefully the temporary sign is big enough for now! I am wildly excited about the office! Even though it is a basically a room with tables and chairs and a white board, this office has my [business] name on the door - it is fresh and clean and new and full of potential!
Just to clarify any confusion, though, the office is open “by appointment only” for all intents and purposes. I am thrilled to offer the option for a student to come to the office, but I will usually be meeting with clients at their homes. If I have a client at the office for an appointment, then I will be focusing on him/her, not openly interacting with other clients. Classes and tests will always be at the office, but again, will not be an open time for client interactions. Of course, if you would like to see my humble gathering place, please let me know and I will be happy to show you the office and my ridiculously goofy excitement about it!

What is changing with the SAT?
You may have heard about the new PSAT and SAT. They are arriving this next academic year. The PSAT/NMSQT in October 2015 will be the new format. In March 2016, the new SAT will be administered.
The new PSAT and SAT are quite different in format. The Math includes both calculator-allowed and calculator-prohibited sections. The Reading has changed to a format which includes tables/charts so that data must be interpreted. The Writing is now so much like ACT English, I am surprised there is not a copyright issue. The Essay is listed as optional, but it's not, and it has a more analytical slant, which will appeal to the AP students, but is still accessible to those who are not in AP classes.
As of now, my classes are only for the current SAT format. Starting in January, I will be working with the new SAT format in my group classes. Tutoring students interested in the new SAT format need to confirm with me first; I am not concerned about the tutoring, but I am concerned about the lack of reliable published material. Just this week, College Board released the first full new SAT practice tests. Publishers are racing to get materials released and with that much change in so little time, I suspect next year's editions will be much stronger than this year's.
FYI: The ACT is not currently planning any content changes. It will rolling out the computerized version, though, and the expected Houston area rollout is yet to be determined.
As always, please contact me with any questions! I will publish updates, but you can also visit www.collegeboard.org or www. for more information. act.org
